Reboots, RDNS, and MRTG — OH MY!
The day is finally here, folks! We have officially launched our all new client system that features many frequently demanded options. Our new client system is by far amazing and opens up a whole new window and potential client base.
The system is meant to be clean and easy to use and offer the core functions that everyone needs, without a bunch of jumbled garbage. After countless hours of slaving over code, it has all paid off. The response to the new system has been outstanding.
Remote Reboot Access
Do you have a dedicated server? If so, within our new client portal you will be able to remotely reboot your server, whenever needed, free of charge. At this time the Remote Reboot function is only available for dedicated servers within our Dallas datacenter.
MRTG Graphs
Once again, another feature exclusive to Dallas dedicated server users, but will be added for our other datacenter as soon as possble. The MRTG graphs will allow you to visually see your traffic paterns.
Reverse DNS
If you have a VPS or dedicated server on our Dallas network, you will be able to manage your reverse dns entries with ease. By logging into the new client portal, you will have the option to set your own RDNS without submitting a support ticket. If you have a VPS within the Atlanta Datacenter, you may set your reverse dns within your HyperVM panel.
Server Status/Node Status
Unable to access your VPS or dedicated server? We have added a current status monitor to the client portal that will poll your server, on port 80 (http), whenever the page is loaded. This will allow you to see if your server is online or offline. If you are a VPS customer, you will also be able to see if the node is online or offline, so you know if it is just your VPS or an entire node.
Management Package
Unsure about your level of management that comes with your server? Not a problem, we have added a management package status within the portal to clear up any confusion.
Improved Billing/Support Integration
No more logging in twice to gain access to your billing and support! When logged into the client portal, you will automatically be logged into the ticket system. All existing tickets will remain.
We hope that everyone will enjoy the new system as much as we are. At this time we do not consider it a finished product as we are continuously adding new features. The panel has already gone under numerous aesthetic redesigns since it was released on Saturday.
With the nature of the software and who uses it the most, we are asking for individuals to make suggestions for features that they would like to see implemented within the system. We plan on continuously developing this panel to make it the most powerful and easy to use panel we possibly can.
